Hobbie
was born on the planet Ralltiir, one of the core worlds. For years Ralltiir
was regarded as the center of banking in the galaxy, with many large
corporations and rich individuals having accounts there. Hobbies mother
had died when he was very young but his father was well off. This allowed
Hobbie to follow his passion for flying from a young age. After Palpatine
dissolved the senate he decided to show the galaxy that even the core
worlds couldn't stand up to his might; he decided to make an example
of Ralltiir. An Imperial task force commanded by Lord Tion was sent
to takeover Ralltiir and the planet was blockaded. In order to enforce
the Palpatines' view that non-humans were inferior, any banks with accounts
belonging to non-humans were closed down and their assets seized. Hobbies
father, who was an executive at one such bank, protested to this action
and was arrested on the charge of attempting to incite an uprising.
Hobbie was alone; he had to escape. His chance came when the Rebels
attacked the Grallia spaceport, he took the families YT-2000 transport
the 'Moonlight Raider' and escaped the Imperial blockade with the help
of his R2 unit 'Glitch' and and his LE series maintenance droid 'Tinker'.
Hobbie spent some time as a smuggler and frequently worked for Durga
the Hutt smuggling spice. He once made the Kessel run in 11.9 parsecs
in the 'Moonlight Raider'. He started smuggling for the Rebel Alliance
and when Durga found out he put a price on Hobbies head so big he could
have rivaled Han Solo. Hobbie joined the Alliance as a sniper with 'Pages
Commandos' and soon got his chance for revenge when the unit was assigned
a mission to assassinate Lord Tion. However the mission was a failure
due to bad intel. He lost two friends on that mission and decided he
couldn't stay with the unit. Hobbie transferred Alliance Starfighter
Command and joined FTS, he now serves as XO of Bandit Claw and waits
for the day when he will once again get a chance to take his revenge
on Lord Tion.
