| Born a risk taking Correlian, Mad Dog preferred his nickname rather than his given name of Anthony Woodslow. His father Martin was an officer for the Imperial Navy and his Uncle Bob was a smuggler for Durga the Hutt and were great fliers to boot. Learning to fly at an early age and with such natural skill Mad Dog's father enrolled him into the Imperial Academy to bring out the best of his abilities. His classmates gave him the nickname he enjoyed so much because of his relentless flying style. After he finished as the second best in his class Mad Dog was assigned to the Dominator as a Tie Advanced pilot. His father Martin was the Commanding Officer of the squadron. His first tour was to an outer rim colony whose name classified. Though during that tour Mad Dog and his father Martin witnessed some of the most brutal atrocities the Empire ever committed. Appalled by these events Mad Dog and Martin tried to escape and defect to the rebel alliance in their Tie Advanced but Martin, who was the only one who knew the coordinents of the rendezvous, died in the attempt. Mad Dog made his way back to Correlia and contacted his Uncle. Bob gave Mad Dog shelter and repaired his T/A. After a few years as a smuggler Mad Dog found himself in a bar named Moe's. After hearing numerous boasts from various pilots about Flying Tiger Squadron Mad Dog decided to look into it. He found the FTS is not a full member of the Rebel Alliance which was something that Mad Dog found agreeable with him. After sending in his application to ELJEFE, Mad Dog proceeded to Moe's to meet the rest of the Squadron. |
